Reservation Blues

In searching for more reading on Reservation Blues, I came across a CD that was made of the lyrics that opened every chapter adapted into songs.

Only the previews are available, but it was interesting to hear someone's interpretation of what Coyote Springs would sound like. Sherman Alexie was involved with the production of these pieces, as well.

this is interesting. ...i listened to a few previews, and felt they embodied more of a 70s soft-rock feel than what i had imagined while reading the book. i guess you could take this as a white man's interpretation of the modern native american society; or, since alexie was a part of the production, you could just view it as a form of extended reading. in any case, nice find!
